What does being a judge for #UKB19 mean to you?

Being a judge for the UK Blog Awards is a huge honour for me and after several years of blogging experience (and after reading countless parenting blog posts), I can now put it all to very good use. Being a blogger is 24/7 hard work so it will be great to show someone we really appreciate that hard work and let everyone else see what they can do too!

I am so happy to be doing the Baby and Parenting category as my own blog, Bad Mum is a parenting platform designed to support Mum’s in knowing we all do it and we are all the same. The parenting bloggers are so important to help get this message across.

I have been a blogger for ten years now and so much has changed over the years but one thing that remains the same is blogging is a true determination and passion which takes working for free mostly, and that takes a certain type of person.

Bloggers don’t always get the recognition they deserve and this accolade gives them that, and more.

What are you most looking forward to this awards season?

What I am looking forward to is getting to know the blogging industry even better then I do now, meeting great bloggers on the judging panel and I get to read many brilliant blogs…what is there not to love!

It is exciting to be part of something like this as I have always seen blog awards in action and thought how amazing it all looks,  but to have an important role as this too is the icing on the cake (and a bit scary!)

I am so pleased I get to hand over an award I know will mean the absolute world to the winning recipient and I was part of that.
