| Basic Info | The Popcorn Muncher is a film blog I have been running since 2012, founded around the principle that all cinema is worthy of informed and insightful discussion - from the smallest indies to arthouse treats and, of course, the major blockbusters that have us munching popcorn.My reviews rate movies as a binary 'Pop' or 'Poop' depending on whether they work or not, with the yes/no scale designed to put more focus on the review rather than a simple star rating. As well as reviews, I also write more in-depth analysis pieces on some of the most interesting movies out in cinemas.The site also plays host to the weekly Popcorn Muncher Podcast, in which I discuss the week's new releases and movie news with two friends. We also test our respective knowledge bases in a weekly movie quiz that gets (maybe) just a little fiery at times. |
