I started my official Orlagh Claire blog in September 2016 at the beginning of my second year at university as an outlet for my thoughts on student life. My blog is centered around my journey as a PR student and helping others with their own student journeys. I write advice posts about placements and how to get them and also tell of my own experiences as an intern. I blog about living away from home and my time living in London and Liverpool, with personal posts added in so readers can get to know the person behind the screen. My blog is also very empowering for females with my #GirlBossMonday series and I try my best to motivate others through my posts, writing from my own experience of leaving a small town and realising I can achieve my dream job and life by putting the work in.
|What Blog Means To You|
Ever since I started my blog, I've been fully dedicated, posting at least once per week. I find writing my blog posts extremely therapeutic as it helps put my thoughts and feelings 'on paper' and I enjoy sparking conversation around hot topics. I love having my own little corner of the internet and my blog is my greatest achievement in life. I was always quite embarrassed when I first started out, hiding it from people I knew personally, but now I get so many emails and messages telling me it has been so helpful and that's what makes it all worthwhile. Even though my blog is only a hobby, I spend every free minute I have on it because I love it. I love writing and I'm proud of how far my blog has come in the two years that I fully committed to blogging. I always made time for my blog, even when I was working two jobs and at university and even when I was working full-time in London. I'm so proud of my site and hope that it grows with me as I finish university and follows my journey wherever I end up.
