Basic Details

NameKarin Sieger
Basic InfoI am a therapist and writer. In the articles on my website I talk about a wide range of emotions and human experiences, especially transitions, personal growth, loss, grief and the emotional impact of cancer, which I have been diagnosed with twice. I started writing in 2013 and since then my audience has progressively increased, with regular re-publications on Huffington Post, Positively Positive, The Mighty, Thrive Global and others. From feedback I know my readers appreciate my jargon-free, down-to-earth style, which is non-preaching. Most of all I include my own experiences in the reflections I share. Like everyone else, I don't have all the answers. And like everyone else I do the best I can to make life as satisfactory and meaningful as I can.
What Blog Means To YouWriting, blogging and increasingly doing my videos via YouTube is an integral part of who I am. It is not a "marketing or advertising tool" for my therapy practice. Instead it provides me with an outlet and path to contribute to society and the good of all. I think it important that we all can do this in one way or another in our lives. PS. I should say, I do feel slightly awkward about nominating myself. But I guess in this day and age it's something I need to get over. Thanks very much! KS
