We’d lay money on it that nearly every single blogger has heard this phrase at least once in their career. ‘Fake it til you make it,’ is probably the most (and over) used saying there is out there.

But what does it really mean? And is it actually helpful? We want to explore the concept of jumping in with both feet ESPECIALLY if you aren’t really ready!

Don’t forget to come and join us tonight at 9pm over on our Twitter feed.

Q1) Do you think ‘fake it til you make it’ is a particularly helpful term?

Q2) Has it ever helped you with your confidence/mindset?

Q3) What other sayings/signs of support should we show to new bloggers?

Q4) From a mental health perspective what else can we say/do to help anyone struggling?

Q5) There’s a pretty big problem with ‘comparison-itis’ in the blogosphere today, do you think perpetuating the ‘fakery’ is helping break this behaviour or perpetuating it?

Q6) What is the one piece of advice you wish you’d been told when you first started out blogging?
