WWF-UK Blog

Blog Overview

We launched the WWF-UK blog site in 2011 to give our experts and field officers a new way of showing people snippets of life in the field and what goes on behind the scenes at WWF. Since then, the blog has developed a lot. It now includes opinions and accounts from our corporate partners, our celebrity ambassadors and other influential people who help us achieve our mission. We also use it to showcase some breathtaking, award-winning photography and video, which is a wonderful way of bringing our work to life – and to inform and inspire people about what we do. As a result, the blog has increased in popularity among our audiences. And it’s picked up two national awards.

At WWF-UK, we’re part of the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. We’re determined find the best ways to showcase the incredible beauty of our amazing planet, and to engage everyone in the challenge of tackling the many threats that face our wildlife and wild places. Our award-winning blog site helps us to use the power of stories and first-person accounts to explain the work we do in different and exciting ways. It can provide a look behind the scenes, and it’s a brilliant way to share accounts and opinions from our staff, partners, celebrity supporters and other influential people who help us achieve our mission. It includes some truly breathtaking, award-winning photography and video. We believe that our blog not only informs people, but also inspires them to make positive changes to their lives and the natural world.
