ODEON are really excited that we’re the headline sponsors for UKBA16. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know the blogging community, what makes you tick, what inspires you; and as part of our headline award, The Best Storyteller; identify creative talent.
Today marks one of the biggest celebrations for honouring creative talent. It’s Oscar nomination announcement day recognising the best of the film world in 2015. From actors and directors to musicians and costume designers, the anticipation of being honoured by their peers for their creative endeavours is bound to be both thrilling and humbling; while a nomination or the ultimate win; carries the potential to be life changing.
So as we enter a busy and reflective, celebratory period in the film industry and as voting for the UKBA will soon be close, we’re hosting our second blog hour next week. To mark Award Season at ODEON, which celebrates the films heralded by both BAFTA in the UK, and the Oscars; we’re asking you guys to share with us what recognition means to you, what it looks like; and what you personally consider to be the highest of accolades for your own blogging efforts.
Join us next Tuesday at 9pm, where we’ll be back online with the UK Blog Awards posing the questions during #BlogHour. We have provided the questions in advance, see below and let us knwo what you think. And in the meantime, why not check out an Award Season title this weekend, or treat yourself to an ODEON Award Season gift tin. We know you won’t be disappointed.
